ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Prabowo Subianto as Indonesia’s elected president in the 2024 Presidential Election.
Xi Jinping admitted that he wanted to meet Prabowo as soon as possible so that cooperation between Indonesia and China would become stronger.
These words from Xi Jinping were conveyed in an official letter delivered directly by the Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Lu Kang, when he met Prabowo at the Ministry of Defense office, Jakarta, Thursday, March 21 2024.
“I would like to express my congratulations and best wishes on your election as President of the Republic of Indonesia,” Xi Jinping said to Prabowo in the letter dated March 20, 2024.
Xi Jinping said that China and Indonesia are neighboring countries that have joint efforts to accelerate the development of bilateral relations, with the principle of mutual trust and benefit.
“The relationship between China and Indonesia is very important. “I am ready to work with you to guide the development of a China-Indonesia community with a shared future towards greater progress,” said Xi Jinping.
“I hope to meet you soon,” he continued.
Xi Jinping also prayed that under Prabowo’s government, Indonesia would always be prosperous and happy.
“May your country enjoy prosperity and its people be happy,” concluded Xi Jinping. (AT Network)
