ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian tourism film entitled Jiwa Jagad Jawi won the 5th Place Countries Promotion World’s Best Tourism Film award at the 35th World Tourism Film Awards in Valencia, Spain, on Wednesday, November 22 2023.
The 35th World Tourism Film Awards held by The International Committee of Tourism Film Festival (CIFFT) in Valencia, Spain, on November 22 2023 is an event to award awards to the world’s best tourism films involving more than 3,000 promotional videos from 50 countries participating in the event. CIFFT Circuit 2023.
A total of 27 prestigious awards were awarded at the event in five categories, namely Tourism Destination Cities, Regions, Countries, Tourism Products and Tourism Services. The film Jiwa Jagad Jawi also managed to win the 5th Place Countries Promotion World’s Best Tourism Film.
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, in his statement, Thursday, November 23 2023, appreciated the success of the film “Jiwa Jagad Jawi” which won the award.
Sandiaga said that this award was a marker of the promotion of the tourism sector and creative economy in Indonesia which was becoming increasingly global and amplified.
“The entire team at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is very pleased to receive recognition from The 35th World Tourism Film Awards. “Indonesia has always been a dynamic and cultural country with many beautiful destinations, and we are proud to show our beautiful country through films,” said Sandiaga.
This award is proof of the hard work of the entire production team, as well as a reminder of the richness and beauty of Indonesia which never fails to captivate the world.
